The modern cobot cell is easy to program and operate. In some cooperative tasks, ABB’s collaborative robot GoFa can be used without safety fences or additional safety equipment. However, certain processes may still require extra safety equipment to ensure operator safety. ABB’s GoFa demo presents increased cobot safety with help of Sick’s safety scanners and a more efficient and flexible way to do pick and place solutions with the help of Sick’s Ploc2D integrated vision system.
