Frequently asked questions
We will be sending out a general reminder letter to high schools, but personal invitations are no longer sent out. All women and non binary people attending high school, studying advanced math and who are interested in technology as a field of work and study are free to apply for the event.

Yes, every applicant may apply for any of the event locations. Everyone has the same chance to attend any event, no matter where in Finland they come from, and we will cover the travel costs to the event you are chosen for in accordance to our travel reimbursement guidelines.
Yes, women and non binary people from all high school years may apply.
In case you buy tickets for two or more people, we recommend doing each purchase separately to get a personal receipt for every traveller. Travel imbursements are personal, and each participant may only apply for their own journey costs, so the friend you bought the ticket for still needs to apply to get the reimbursement even if someone else paid their journey.
We will only reimburse the use of a personal car for those legs of the journey where using public transport is not an option. The reimbursement rate is based on the Finnish governments payment per Kilometer rate.
