Simple ECG Acquisition, Processing and Analysis
In this demonstration, students can volunteer to have an initial live visualization of their ECG.
One student (maybe even more) can volunteer to have a snippet of their ECG recorded using a simple electronic circuit and a computer. A step-by-step raw signal processing pipeline is presented for obtaining a signal that can be visually analysed.
With the results, a discussion and analysis on markers of heart health and the importance of prospective collaboration between people in technology and medicine in diagnosis procedures is started.
Throughout the entire experience there will also be light theoretical briefing for the students to understand some of the principles that made the demonstration possible.
