Demos

Superconducting devices at the nanometre scale

The demo is organised by the Quantum Circuits and Correlations research group from the School of Science

Superconducting device

Come see the real samples that are used for low-temperature quantum physics!

In our demo, you’ll see actual devices fabricated and measured in our low-temperature lab, along with scanning electron microscope images that can resolve features up to 10 nm!

You’ll also be able to examine the chips and accompanying components through an optical microscope.

Presenters: Ekaterina Mukhanova, Ilari Lilja
Research group: Quantum Circuits and Correlations (NANO)
Department: Applied Physics
