Valmet 3D fiber machine is a new technology for producing fiber packaging solutions. In the manufacturing process, the pulp slurry is injected to a mold that forms 3 dimensional shaped products, which are further pressed, dried and cut to their final shape.
The technology, process and the fiber products are all under intense development at the industrial scale pilot machine, that has been operating since 2022 – under the joined development project of Metsä and Valmet.
This demo presents samples of different fiber products that are produced at the Valmet 3D fiber pilot machine, as well as 3D printed tools that are specially developed for the machine.
