In the workshop, we will learn about measuring electrical signals from the heart and muscles, sensations caused by electrical currents, and how these phenomena can be modeled using computer simulations – all through practical demonstrations.
The heart and muscles generate electrical signals that can be measured and used to evaluate health status. Electrical currents can also affect the nervous system, and this property is applied in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological and psychiatric disorders.
