Workshop description
Topic: Audio signal processing and virtual acoustics
In the acoustics workshop, you will get to familiar with Aalto's acoustics laboratory in three phases:
1. Anechoic chamber and volume. In the workshop, we will find out how room reverberation affects the sound.
2. Listening to concert halls and comparing their acoustics.
3. Getting to know the listening room and the characteristics of the human voice, such as the spectrum.
Aalto's acoustics laboratory has excellent facilities for sound-related research and teaching.
