Workshop description
Topic: Digital Manufacturing
In the workshop, we will start by going through what a laser beam is and how it is used in industry, for example for precise cutting of protective glasses for phones.
We will also see practical examples of different pieces made with laser marking, such as stylish markings on denim. We'll also get a literal taste of the technique, as we'll be offering laser-marked biscuits. This is a real application, by the way - M&M candies, for example, are made this way.
We will then see how laser marking is done in practice. Together, let's look forward to the bright and promising future of laser tagging!
