Join our workshop and build your own dye-sensitized solar cell – powered by berries!
Solar energy from berries! Are you interested in renewable energy?
In this workshop, you will learn how pigments extracted from berries can convert sunlight into electricity. Working in a group, you will build your own solar cell and measure its performance. At the end, we will compare the efficiency of cells sensitized with different berries. You will also get to visit a chemistry laboratory and meet chemistry researchers and students.
